Hosting the "Golden Tom" painting competition and giving away (producing and shipping) real trophies costs money. So far we (users Admin Tom, SerialMoM and floedebolle) have paid for this out of our pocket. Why? Because this is a great community!
But in order to keep this up, we need your help.
Every contribution matters and will go towards the production costs of the "Golden Tom" painting and modelling competition. Specifically: casting and shipping trophies.

All this 40k stuff still is not my cup of tea but the "speedpainting" label sure puts me to shame. :)
The models do look great.
Thanks Cianty! Well, don't let the word "speedpainting" throw you off. 40K miniatures really are super easy to get painted to tabletop quality, because most of them (Space Marines above all) are far less intricately detailed than fantasy miniatures. All my marines were done with basically just 4 drybrushing steps, 1 wash and some weathering. So it is really easy to get a good effect in a very short amount of time. No real skill needed here, just a little willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
